Cayton Corner Park is a community led project! Which means that we can’t build this park without your help. Join us in monthly meetings where we talk about design, community outreach, fundraising, and interim use. We need volunteers in all these areas!
All of the following meetings will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the conference room at the Hearing, Speech, and Deafness Center, located at 1625 19th Avenue.

What has been done so far: We held three design workshops during which the community will help decide how the park will be developed. Friends of Cayton Corner Park hired J.A. Brennan & Associates to be the landscape architect, teaming up with public artist Carolyn Law, to lead us through this process. We’re so thrilled about the final product!
We’ve had numerous interim use events, including Neighborhood Night Out and a stealth flower planting event (look out in Spring ’14! We’re gonna be filled with flowers).
Right now we’re focusing on raising the money needed to build the park and making sure it’s a community accessible space in the meanwhile. Come help! We welcome everyone
